WalMart is offering a pharmacy refill service to help customers who cannot afford a full prescription.
The offer will be available to those who use their debit card to pay for a full pharmacy refill and can pay with a credit card.
Walmart said it had previously offered this service to customers who have a low-income household income and pay a monthly payment.
The company said it will also continue to work with existing pharmacy benefit managers and pharmacies to make the offer available to more people.
“It’s an opportunity to get out of debt and get back on track,” said Scott Miller, Walmart’s director of pharmacy services.
“This is a great opportunity to expand access to healthcare for many people who cannot pay their bills.”
The offer is available at WalMart pharmacies in the US and Canada.
